Decaying bark: If the bark on a tree is decaying, it is a sign that the tree is dying.

Pests or diseases: If a tree is infested with pests or diseases, it can also die.

If you notice any of these signs, it is important to have the tree inspected by a certified arboriculturist. The arboriculturist can determine the cause of the tree’s decline and recommend the best course of action. 

In some cases, the tree may be able to be saved with proper care. However, in other cases, the tree may need to be removed.

It is important to act quickly if you notice a dying tree. The longer you wait, the more difficult and expensive it will be to save the tree.
